Frames
Recently,
we have seen a desire with most of our customers to change the look or
style of furniture as well as the material. We have been redesigning so
much furniture lately, that we have decided to go a step further and begin
producing custom-built furniture. This way, you can choose every aspect
of your design. These pieces will be unique custom-made upholstered furniture
built to your specifications
To
get an idea of how all this works, let's run through the process..
Select
a frame style
Choose from
a wide array of frames from dining chairs to sofas. These are quality
bare-bones
frames engineered and produced off site by one of the leading manufacturers
in the industry, Chervan. Once you
decide on a frame to use, we assemble it in our shop using oak dowels,
screws and high strength glue. We DO NOT use framing staples which are
found in a majority of new furniture.
Once assembled,
we prep the frames with webbing, springs and any underlayment required

Customize
After you make
your selection, you are not limited to what you see in the frame catalog.
If you find a style that you like, but need to make some changes in the
design, we can alter the frame to your specifications. For example, you
can raise the back by a few inches, or fatten up the arms a bit. Maybe
you want a pleated skirt or a gathered skirt ... or no skirt. Whatever
changes you want us to make, we can customize it for you.
If you have a little artistry flowing in your veins, we welcome your designs,
drawings and ideas as well. Just give us as much or as little information
as you want to about the piece and we will create a one of a kind masterpiece
that you can call your own.
Select
seat cushion
Next, choose
the exact type of seat and back cushion that fits your needs. Choose either
spring down or foam. Select the height and density you want from ultra
soft to extra firm. You can read more about foam density and firmness

Select
fabric
We have over 80 sample books in our showroom,
with thousands of prints to choose from. If you can't find a particular
print that you want in our books, in all likelihood we can locate it for
you. Customers are also welcome to provide their own material at an additional
cost.
Accessories
Lastly, decide on all the finishing touches for your furniture.
You can choose style, height & size of your legs. If you should want nails,
they come in a variety of shapes, sizes and color. You may want fringe
or braid. We can provide all of that. All of this means that you will
have a unique piece of furniture, tailored to your taste to fit in with
your décor and space ...a one of a kind! |
